Vellyn ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

DATA WE COLLECT

• Profile information you provide during onboarding (age, height, weight, gender, activity level, goals)
• Weight log entries you add over time
• Your meal style preference (Healthy or Comfort food)

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

• To calculate your personalized daily calorie target
• To generate meal suggestions matched to your goals
• To display your weight progress over time

WHERE YOUR DATA IS STORED

• Most of your data (profile, weight logs, preferences) is stored locally on your device.
• When AI-generated meal suggestions are used, your calorie target, meal style, and goal (not your name or personal identity) are sent to our backend service to generate meal recommendations. This data is not stored long-term.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• RevenueCat, for managing subscriptions
• Supabase and OpenAI, for AI meal generation
• Apple, for processing in-app purchases

These providers may process limited technical data (such as anonymized usage data) according to their own privacy policies.

DATA SHARING We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
